Combined Schools - Single Unit
WGI - Scholastic Information regarding combined schools wishing to compete as one unit.
Any colorguard or percussion ensemble that combines students from multiple schools with their district ro zone must compete under the name os a single school. Combined colorguards or percussion ensemble may not combine school names or use any other name.
For Example: if Mountain East HS and Mountain West HS combine, they must choose one of those names as the official name. They would not be allowed to compete as Mouthain HS, as it does not legally exist.
In adidtion, thr group must submit a letter on school district letterhead authorizing the combining of students and resources (a template of the letter will be available from WGI)
If these new requirements are not met, then the color guard or percussion ensemble in question must compete as an independent group or limit the membership to students from only othe one school registering for competition.
