The arts are an essential and unique part of life to which each student has a right. The Louisiana Color Guard and Percussion Circuit was established to foster positive experiences for all students by promoting education, creativity, and freedom of expression in the performing arts.

The LCGPC is comprised of 49 high school, university, and independent color guard and percussion units representing all parts of Louisiana and Mississippi. LCGPC sanctioned competitions occur on weekends and culminate with Circuit Championships on March 15. The LCGPC is a not-for-profit corporation which exist through unit member fees and through corporate sponsors.
